2008 WOODEN BAT SUPPLIER INFORMATION

OMBAC has no stake in the brand or style of wooden bat you use for our 2006 World Championship, other than that it must be a softball or Little League bat. We offer the following as a courtesy to local San Diego suppliers and as an assist to all players who have asked for help in finding wooden bats.

Berry's Athletic Supply in Lemon Grove is a dealer for Louisville Slugger and other brands. They have told us that they can supply bats custom ordered within a couple of weeks. Berry's also has official DeBeer OTL Balls.

We now have another local Wooden Bat Company. Jauregui Bat Company, best reached by checking their web site at www.buywoodbats.com, manufactures Professional Grade Maple Bats, both Little League ($40) and Softball ($55).
Jauregui will also provide free engraving with the purchase of a bat! He has Natural Color Maple Bats on special for OTL players at $47. Please call JJ at 619-863-6426.

For teams in San Diego they offer a facility where players can practice their OTL swing. Check them out at the Bullpen Baseball Academy in Chula Vista where they custom make the maple bats. One more Bat Company has informed us of their ability to provide wooden bats for this year's OTL players. Phoenix Bat Company has a Southern California Rep, Dwight Ries, who can be reached at 760-845-1920 or dwightries@phoenixbats.com. They have Rock Maple softball bats for $70 orNorthern White Ash softball bats for $55. Seven different models to choose from, 32" to 34". All weight ranges from super light to -2. Their West Coast outlet is in Carlsbad.
