2012 OTL Tournament Registration
Info and Procedures

Championship Over-The-Line Tournament
July 14th & 15th and
July 21st & 22nd, 2012

Outside of Southern
California...
Out-of-State (and
Northern California) request for applications will be accepted from
January 1 through April 28, 2012. If you request an application after
April 15, 2012, your chance of getting your team into the tournament are
pretty much "slim or none". Please get your request in ASAP. All
out-of-state requests will be mailed out to the team captain no earlier
than April 1, 2012.

Please Note: The OTL
Committee will assign non-seeded, first weekend teams their start date.
It will be either Saturday or Sunday of the first weekend and you will
not have a choice. Exceptions can be made but trust us, we have
heard every conceivable excuse so don't plan on playing on a certain
day. (Everyone wants to play on Saturday....we know that....but we
have to split the tournament evenly!)

Application requests
must include a
self-addressed,
self-sealing, stamped, business-size (#10) envelope.
You must send us an
envelope or you WILL NOT GET A
RESPONSE!!!!!!!

The application will be
mailed to that address no earlier than April 1, 2012.
Applications must be
completed and returned to the OTL Committee at the address on the back
of the application before April 28, 2012.
Note that...
Only teams from areas
other than San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, or San Bernardino
counties may request applications by mail. Teams from San Diego and those surrounding
locales must pick up their applications in person at either the San
Diego location or Newport Beach location.

In San Diego...
San Diego Sign-ups will now start at
9 AM with the
sign-up line starting at 7 AM
sharp.
Anyone in line before
7 AM, may not be permitted
into the tournament or will be the last people allowed to enter this
year's OTL. SDPD and OMBAC security will be strictly
enforcing this rule. It is unfortunate that we have had to change
the procedures but the only other option is for the City of San Diego to
shut us down totally. Please work with us! Please do not be
the person or persons that causes OMBAC to lose its annual sign-up day or
even worse the Over-the-Line Tournament.

Sign-ups for San Diego
area teams will be held on:
Saturday, May 5, 2012
from 9:00 AM to noon at the "Beachcomber/Pennant" Bars on Mission Boulevard in
South Mission Beach.
The Line for OTL Sign-ups starts at 7 AM
sharp. Anyone in line before 7 AM may not be permitted into OTL!
This will be strictly enforced with "NO EXCEPTIONS"!
Applications will be
available on a first-come/first-served basis until all 1,200
applications are gone.
One player from each
team must be present.
NOTE: This is the only
location in the San Diego area to sign up for OTL!

Angeles/Orange County area...
Sign-ups for Los
Angeles/Orange County/Riverside/San Bernardino county teams will be held on
Saturday, May 5, 2012
at 10:00 AM at "Blackies By The Sea" at the Newport Beach Pier in
Newport Beach, CA.

$90 registration fee is
due and payable at time of application

NOTE: If you do not
register your team by May 5th, you will probably not be allowed in the
tournament. In other words, get your requests in early. We are limited
to 1200 teams! NO EXCEPTIONS!

All bats must be
regulation wooden softball bats. No baseball
bats and no metal bats. We will be checking!!
