Surfing Contest

Important Times:

Beach check-in 7:00AM to 7:30AM

First heat paddle out 8:30AM

The contestant entry fee includes a contest t-shirt for the surfer.

Separate divisions for Open, Wahine, and Menehune (youth 16 years old and under)

The contest is an opportunity for surfers and their vintage surfboards to gather for a nostalgic competition that has become more of an event than a contest.

All contestants surf on 1969 or older longboards, 9′ or longer, with no leash.

T-shirts and other OMBAC surfwear will be available for purchase at the contest.

Contestant Entry Fee – $35 pre-register, the price increases to $45 on Thursday, September 19th at midnight .

Official OMBAC Surf Contest Apparel will be available for sale at the event.
